9 attractions

Main Street U.S.A.

The turn-of-the-century shopping street that funnels every guest from the entrance to Cinderella Castle, doubling as the parade route and the fireworks viewing area.

Walt Disney World Railroad

Any height

Train · 20 min

A real steam train circling the park with stops at Main Street, Frontierland and Storybook Circus.

Four narrow-gauge steam locomotives, all built in the 1920s and rescued from freight service in Mexico, run a loop around the park's perimeter. They are genuinely old machines burning genuine fuel, and that is most of the appeal — you can smell the boiler, hear the injectors, and watch the engineer work the reverser from the Main Street platform.

Tips for Walt Disney World Railroad
  • Board at Storybook Circus, not Main Street. The Main Street platform gets the longest lines because everyone boards there; Storybook Circus is frequently a walk-on and the leg from there back to Frontierland is the prettiest part of the loop.
  • Strollers are not allowed on the train and there is no valet parking at the far station, so if you are traveling with a stroller you are committing to fold-and-carry or to walking back for it.
  • Sit on the left side traveling from Frontierland to Storybook Circus for the elevated look into the backstage rail yard and the Storybook Circus tents; the right side faces construction walls for part of that stretch.
  • The last train of the day leaves the stations well before park close, and the railroad shuts down entirely during the afternoon parade because the parade route crosses the tracks at grade in Frontierland. Do not build an evening exit plan around it.

Main Street Vehicles

Any height

Transportation · 2 min

Horse-drawn trolleys, a jitney, a fire engine and an omnibus running one-way down Main Street.

A rotating cast of period vehicles shuttles guests the four hundred yards between Town Square and the castle hub. The fleet includes horse-drawn streetcars pulled by draft horses, a motorized fire engine, an open jitney and a double-decker omnibus. Which ones run on a given morning depends on staffing and weather.

Tips for Main Street Vehicles
  • The vehicles almost always stop running by late morning and do not return, so this is a rope-drop-hour experience or nothing.
  • Ride toward Town Square rather than toward the castle. Everyone wants the castle view, so the castle-bound line is longer and the Town Square-bound trolley is often empty.
  • If a child wants to see the horses up close without riding, stand at the Town Square loading island around the top of the hour when the teams are swapped out — the handlers are relaxed and will usually chat.
  • Skip this entirely on a one-day trip. It is a returning-visitor pleasure, not a first-timer priority.

Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater

Any height

Character meet · 5 min · Multi Pass

The indoor, air-conditioned Mickey Mouse meet-and-greet just inside the park entrance on the right.

Town Square Theater sits immediately to your right as you clear the entrance tunnels, in the building that also houses a PhotoPass counter. Inside is a small backstage-of-a-magic-show setting where you meet Mickey Mouse one family group at a time. He does not speak, but he interacts, and the handler photographers here are among the most patient in the park.

Tips for Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
  • Do not do this first. Walk past it at rope drop, ride the headliners, and come back in the last hour of the day when the posted wait routinely falls under fifteen minutes.
  • If your child is nervous, ask the greeter for the extra minute — they will slow the whole interaction down, and there is no queue pressure visible from inside the room.
  • Your own camera is welcome and the photographer will take shots on your phone in addition to the PhotoPass card; ask before you hand it over, not after.
  • The theater lobby has proper air conditioning and benches. Even if you skip the meet, it is a legitimate cooling-off stop thirty seconds from the exit turnstiles.

Afternoon Parade

Any height

Parade · 12 min

Magic Kingdom's mid-afternoon parade, running from Frontierland through Liberty Square and down Main Street.

Magic Kingdom keeps a full daytime parade in the schedule most days of the year. The show occupying that slot has been the Festival of Fantasy parade for over a decade, and the format is consistent regardless of which production is running: eight to ten large floats, live performers, a marching corps, and a fixed route that starts in Frontierland, crosses Liberty Square, rounds the hub and finishes at Town Square.

Tips for Afternoon Parade
  • Watch from Frontierland, not Main Street. The parade starts there, so you wait twenty-five fewer minutes for the same show, the crowds are thinner, and the Frontierland side of the street has real shade in the afternoon.
  • If you are not watching, this is the best ride window of the day. Fantasyland and Tomorrowland waits fall sharply while the parade runs, and Peter Pan's Flight in particular becomes briefly reasonable.
  • Crossings close first at the Frontierland and Liberty Square choke points. If you need to get from Adventureland to Tomorrowland during parade time, go through the hub before the step-off, not after.
  • The curb in front of the Main Street train station is the last spot to fill and gets you the finale plus a fast exit through the tunnels if you are leaving right after.
  • Sitting on the curb is allowed and expected; standing behind seated guests is fine, but strollers must be moved off the route entirely and cast members will enforce it about twenty minutes out.

Nighttime spectacular · 18 min

The castle fireworks and projection show that closes the night at Magic Kingdom, viewed from the hub or Main Street.

Magic Kingdom runs one large fireworks and castle-projection show per night, almost always at or near park close. The specific production in that slot changes every few years and rotates for holidays; the current long-running version is a story-driven show built around Disney film music with the castle used as a projection surface. What does not change is the shape of the thing: about eighteen minutes, perimeter launch positions behind and beside the castle, projection mapping across the castle face and down onto the buildings of Main Street, and a finale that fills the sky above the hub.

Tips for Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular
  • The best free view with sound is the top of Main Street in front of the Plaza Restaurant, off to the right side. You get the castle, the projections, the street speakers and a clear line to the exit.
  • If you are staying at a monorail resort, watch from the beach at your hotel instead on your last night. The Seven Seas Lagoon carries the shells beautifully and you are already home when it ends.
  • Behind the castle in Fantasyland is a real strategy but only if you understand the trade: no projections, no story, but excellent overhead shells and a park that is nearly empty for the twenty minutes afterward. Ride Peter Pan's Flight or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train during the show and you will get a wait you will not see at any other hour.
  • Ear protection for anyone under five. The low shells are physical, not just loud.
  • Do not stake out a hub spot ninety minutes early on a normal night — forty-five minutes is genuinely enough for a good standing view, and the extra forty-five minutes buys you three more rides.
  • Smoke drift is real. On nights with wind from the north, the hub gets hazy by the finale and the projections wash out; the Main Street position stays cleaner.

Cinderella Castle Stage Show

Any height

Stage show · 20 min

A short daytime show on the Cinderella Castle forecourt stage, performed several times a day.

The stage built into the base of Cinderella Castle hosts a rotating daytime production several times per day. The recurring format is fifteen to twenty-five minutes of live singing and dancing with a handful of characters, projection support on the castle, and a few pyrotechnic cues. The specific show changes every few years and is replaced entirely by holiday productions in certain months.

Tips for Cinderella Castle Stage Show
  • Stand on the raised walkway on either side of the hub rather than in the center of the forecourt. You get an unobstructed sightline over the crowd, and you can leave without excusing your way through two hundred people.
  • The last show of the afternoon is the emptiest by a wide margin, because everyone has shifted toward the parade route or gone back to a hotel.
  • The forecourt has no shade whatsoever. In summer, watch from the shaded side near the Crystal Palace path and accept the angled view.
  • Do not confuse this with the nighttime castle projections, which are part of the fireworks show and use the same surface for a completely different purpose.

Flag Retreat

Any height

Show · 15 min

A daily flag-lowering ceremony in Town Square with a color guard, a brass band and a veteran guest of honor.

Late each afternoon, a security color guard marches into Town Square and lowers the United States flag from the pole in front of the railroad station. The Main Street Philharmonic or the Dapper Dans usually perform, and the ceremony includes the national anthem and a service medley.

Tips for Flag Retreat
  • Sign up at City Hall first thing in the morning if there is a veteran in your group. It costs nothing, it is not advertised, and most visitors never learn it exists.
  • The ceremony happens in the late afternoon, generally around 5 p.m., but the time is not always in the app — ask a Town Square cast member when you enter.
  • Stand near the flagpole side of Town Square rather than the shop side; the band sets up facing the pole and the audio is aimed that way.
  • This is also a quiet-crowd window for the shops on Main Street, since a chunk of the foot traffic stops to watch.

Walt Disney World Monorail

Any height

Transportation · 13 min

The elevated monorail linking Magic Kingdom, the Ticket and Transportation Center, three resorts and EPCOT.

Three separate monorail routes run from the Ticket and Transportation Center. The Resort line loops through the Contemporary, Magic Kingdom, Grand Floridian and Polynesian; the Express line runs nonstop between the TTC and Magic Kingdom; and the EPCOT line connects the TTC to EPCOT's front gate. All three are free and require no ticket.

Tips for Walt Disney World Monorail
  • Ask the cast member at the platform gate to ride in the front cab with the pilot. It seats four or five, it is first come first served, and on a slow morning the answer is often yes. Most guests do not know to ask.
  • At park close, walk to the ferry instead of joining the monorail ramp. The ferry moves six hundred people per sailing and the monorail moves a fraction of that; the ferry is usually twenty minutes faster despite feeling slower.
  • The Resort line is a legitimate midday break with a stroller — ride the full loop, stay in the air conditioning, get off where you got on.
  • The last monorails run about an hour after park close, but the queue for them peaks in the first thirty minutes. Have a snack, let it clear, then walk on.

Magic Kingdom Ferryboat

Any height

Transportation · 10 min

The double-decker ferry across Seven Seas Lagoon between the Ticket and Transportation Center and the park.

Two or three large ferryboats shuttle across Seven Seas Lagoon between the Ticket and Transportation Center and the Magic Kingdom dock. The crossing takes about ten minutes. They are free, they run continuously, and each one holds roughly six hundred people.

Tips for Magic Kingdom Ferryboat
  • Take the ferry in and the ferry out. The monorail is more novel but the ferry moves more people and gives you the better arrival view.
  • Go up to the top deck and stand at the bow railing on the way in. It is open air, it is breezy, and it is the single best free photo of Cinderella Castle from a distance.
  • If the fireworks are ending as you leave, the ferry's upper deck partway across the lagoon gives you the tail of the finale over open water.
  • The dock has covered waiting pens with fans. On a hot afternoon, the shaded ferry queue is a better place to stand than almost any bus stop at the resort.

6 attractions

Adventureland

A dense, shaded jungle-and-Caribbean quarter holding Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise and the park's best restaurant.

Jungle Cruise

Any height

Boat ride · 10 min · Multi Pass

A ten-minute river cruise through animatronic jungle scenes, carried entirely by a live skipper's deadpan puns.

Jungle Cruise is an opening-day attraction that pretends to be a wildlife expedition and is actually a stand-up set. A live skipper pilots a canopied launch through four fictional rivers, delivering a scripted routine of puns so bad they have become the point. The animatronic animals have not been state of the art since roughly 1975 and everyone involved knows it.

Tips for Jungle Cruise
  • Ride after dark. The lighting package transforms it, the animatronics read far better in low light, and the evening skippers tend to be looser with the material.
  • Sit in the front bench, on the right. You are in the skipper's line of fire, which is where the jokes land, and the right side gets the better half of the animal scenes.
  • If your skipper is having a great set, tell a cast member their name at the exit. If they are flat and you have a Multi Pass to spare, get back in line — the roster changes every couple of hours.
  • The queue is fully covered and has fans, which makes it one of the few tolerable places to wait in an Adventureland afternoon.
  • This is one of the better Lightning Lane Multi Pass values at Magic Kingdom precisely because the standby line hovers in the forty-minute range all day without ever spiking, so you rarely feel like you wasted a selection.

Full guide to Jungle Cruise →

Boat ride · 8½ min · Multi Pass

An eight-minute boat ride through a pirate raid, and the best-built dark ride at Magic Kingdom.

Pirates of the Caribbean opened in 1973 as a shortened version of the Disneyland original, and the Florida edition trades that park's two big drops and full bayou opening for a tighter, denser run. What survives is the part that matters: a pirate crew sacking a Caribbean port, staged as a continuous tableau you drift through rather than a series of scenes you are shown.

Tips for Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Left side, front two rows. The fortress battle and the drop both read best from there, and you avoid the deadened audio at the back of the boat.
  • Use this as your afternoon heat break. Eight minutes of ride plus a long indoor queue is thirty minutes out of the sun, and unlike Carousel of Progress it is a headliner you would ride anyway.
  • The drop is genuinely dark and genuinely unannounced. If you are riding with a small child, put them on the inside and tell them about it in the queue — the surprise is the problem, not the height.
  • Waits here are erratic rather than steadily high. It regularly drops to fifteen minutes for stretches in the late morning, so check the app before spending a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection on it.
  • The gift shop at the exit sells the only decent pirate merchandise in the park and is a legitimate shortcut into central Adventureland when the walkway outside is jammed for the parade.

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room

Any height

Show · 10 min

A ten-minute audio-animatronic bird show in an air-conditioned theater, and a genuine piece of 1963 engineering history.

This is where audio-animatronics started. The original Disneyland version opened in 1963 as the first show of its kind, and the Florida edition has run since 1971. Four macaws host a musical revue with roughly two hundred and twenty-five animated birds, flowers and carved tikis, all synchronized to a soundtrack.

Tips for Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
  • Sit toward the middle of the room rather than under the birds at the front. The show plays in a circle around you and the effects at the ceiling and along the walls are the good part; front-row seats put half of it behind your head.
  • Ride this in the afternoon, never in the morning. It costs nothing in wait time at any hour, so spend your low-wait morning on things that will be sixty minutes later.
  • The pre-show happens outside in a covered garden and is short, but the doors to the theater close on schedule — arrive at the top of a cycle or you will wait through most of one outside.
  • If your toddler is sound-sensitive, sit near a door and be ready to step out for the thunderstorm finale, which is the only part that upsets anyone.

Swiss Family Treehouse

Any height

Walkthrough · 10 min

A self-guided climb through a shipwrecked family's home built into a hand-made concrete banyan tree.

The tree is fake and the craftsmanship is not. It is a steel-and-concrete structure carrying about three hundred thousand individually attached vinyl leaves, and the rooms strung through it tell the story of the Swiss Family Robinson making a house out of salvage from their wrecked ship. You climb up one side and down the other in about ten minutes at your own pace.

Tips for Swiss Family Treehouse
  • Go in the morning or after dark. The climb is fully exposed and there is no breeze on the lower platforms; midday in summer this is a hundred-and-sixteen-step sauna.
  • The upper platform is the best free elevated view of Adventureland and the castle spires above the rooftops, and almost nobody uses it as a photo spot.
  • There is no exit partway. Once you commit at the base you are walking the full loop, so do not start it with a child who is already melting down.
  • Look for the water system on the way up and follow the bamboo runs — the whole thing is one continuous piece of engineering, and pointing it out to a kid turns a boring climb into a puzzle.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

Any height

Spinner · 1½ min · Multi Pass

Adventureland's four-across spinner with rider-controlled pitch and a camel that spits water at you.

Sixteen carpets circle a fountain in the middle of Adventureland's main walkway. The front seat controls up and down; the back seat controls the pitch of the carpet, tipping it forward and back. Having two independent controls is what makes it better than Dumbo, which only goes up and down.

Tips for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
  • Take the back seat, not the front. The rear controls the pitch, which is the more interesting control, and kids who insist on the front are usually disappointed to discover they only get up and down.
  • The outer carpets on the camel side get soaked-adjacent; the inner ring stays dry. Choose according to the weather and your patience.
  • Waits here climb to twenty-five minutes by midday for a ninety-second ride, which is one of the worst wait-to-ride ratios at Magic Kingdom. Ride it in the first hour or at night, or skip it entirely.
  • There is no shade in the queue and it faces west. In summer, this queue is genuinely punishing after 3 p.m.

A Pirate's Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas

Any height

Interactive game · 20 min

A free scavenger-hunt game hidden in plain sight across Adventureland, played with a paper map and a talisman card.

Pick up a map and a magic talisman card at the station near the Adventureland bridge, choose one of five missions, and go find the marked locations. Holding the card up to a hidden sensor triggers a practical effect — a barrel bursts, a cannon fires, a chest opens, a spider drops. Each mission takes about twenty minutes and there are five of them, so completing all five is a two-hour project.

Tips for A Pirate's Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas
  • Grab the card and map early even if you plan to play later — the station occasionally runs out of maps late in the day, and the card works for your whole trip.
  • Play during the afternoon parade. Adventureland empties out, the effects fire without a queue of other players ahead of you, and you are already positioned away from the parade route.
  • The talisman cards are collectible and there are several designs; ask the cast member if you can pick, which they will usually allow.
  • Missions vary in quality. The Gold mission has the best cluster of effects and the shortest walking distance; the mission that sends you toward the Pirates exit involves the most backtracking.

Everything in Adventureland

4 attractions

Frontierland

The American West quarter, home to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Tiana's Bayou Adventure, currently bordered by construction walls where Rivers of America used to be.

Roller coaster · 3½ min · Multi Pass

A runaway mine train through a red-rock desert, and the best first roller coaster for most kids at 38 inches.

Big Thunder is a family coaster dressed up as a mining disaster. There are no inversions, no steep drops and a top speed around thirty miles per hour, but the track is laid out to whip you sideways through banked curves inside a hand-sculpted red rock formation stretching almost two hundred feet across Frontierland. The thrill is entirely lateral.

Tips for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Back row for intensity, front row for scenery. Ask for the back and expect to wait one extra train cycle — it is worth it.
  • Ride it after dark. The mountain is lit from within, you cannot see the next curve coming, and the whole thing feels roughly one notch faster than it does at noon.
  • The height requirement is 38 inches as of May 2026, down from 40. If your child was measured on a trip before that, measure again — a lot of families do not know it changed.
  • This is the correct rope-drop target if you have small kids and are skipping TRON. It is closer to the entrance than Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and the line builds more slowly in the first hour.
  • Loose items go in the small floor bin at your feet or in a pocket that zips. There are no lockers, the lateral forces are real, and phones do come out of laps here more than on any other Magic Kingdom coaster.
  • The single most reliable low-wait window is during the afternoon parade, when the parade route cuts Frontierland in half and casual traffic stops flowing toward the mountain.

Full guide to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad →

Water ride · 5 min · Multi Pass

A bayou log flume with a fifty-foot final drop, built around Tiana's story after the events of the film.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure opened in 2024 in the flume that previously held Splash Mountain, keeping the ride system and the fifty-foot drop while replacing everything else. The story picks up after The Princess and the Frog: Tiana is running a food cooperative and preparing a community celebration, and you follow the search for the last ingredients through the bayou.

Tips for Tiana's Bayou Adventure
  • Back row if you want to stay drier and get more airtime on the drop; front row if you want the wave. Row one is meaningfully wetter than rows three and four, and there is no seat assignment fight — just tell the loader.
  • Do not skip the finale by leaving mentally after the drop. The post-splashdown room is the best scene on the attraction and half the boat is busy checking their phone for water damage.
  • Bring a dry bag or a zip pocket. This is a light soaking, not a Kali River drenching, but a phone in an open shorts pocket is a bad bet on the drop.
  • Waits here are inflated relative to the ride length. Five minutes of ride for a seventy-minute standby is a bad trade midday; ride it in the first ninety minutes or use a Multi Pass selection on it.
  • The drop is visible from the walkway bridge between Frontierland and Liberty Square. Take a nervous 40-inch kid there first and let them watch three boats go over before you commit to the queue.
  • On cool mornings in winter this ride is genuinely unpleasant — wet shoes plus wind. It is a warm-afternoon attraction, and the standby line reflects that.

Country Bear Musical Jamboree

Any height

Show · 11 min · Multi Pass

An animatronic bear band playing Disney songs reworked as country, bluegrass and gospel numbers.

The Country Bears have played this theater since opening day in 1971. In 2024 the show was reworked into the Country Bear Musical Jamboree: the same eighteen animatronic performers and the same theater, but a new set list in which the band covers Disney film songs in country, bluegrass, rockabilly and gospel arrangements. The figures were refurbished with new costumes and finer movement.

Tips for Country Bear Musical Jamboree
  • Sit toward the back and center. The stage effects extend to the side walls and the balcony above the stage, and front-row seats put the wall pieces outside your field of view.
  • The wait posted outside is for the next show, not a queue — arrive right after a show lets out and you will stand for close to a full cycle. Check the app for the wait and time your arrival to under five minutes.
  • The trophy heads on the side walls talk between numbers. Most guests never look up and miss the funniest writing in the show.
  • This is the best air-conditioned break in Frontierland by a wide margin. Pair it with a Pecos Bill lunch and you have an hour out of the sun without leaving the land.

Frontierland Shootin' Arcade

Any height

Interactive game · 5 min

A coin-operated shooting gallery with infrared rifles and a boot-hill diorama full of hidden gags.

Twenty-odd rifles aimed at a Western boneyard diorama. Hitting a target sets off a reaction — a tombstone spins with a new epitaph, a windmill turns, a skeleton pops out of a coffin, a train rolls. The guns fire infrared, not pellets, and each play costs a small amount paid at the machine.

Tips for Frontierland Shootin' Arcade
  • Aim for the tombstones and the moving train rather than the static targets — those trigger the multi-part reactions that make the diorama worth the money.
  • It costs extra. It is one of a tiny handful of paid experiences inside the park, and cash is not needed — the machines take cards.
  • Kids under about four feet cannot reach the rifles comfortably; the barrels are on a fixed rail and there is no step provided. Bring realistic expectations for a five-year-old.
  • Read the epitaphs on the tombstones even if you do not play. The writing on that diorama is some of the driest humor in Frontierland.

Liberty Square

A colonial New England town square holding the Haunted Mansion, The Hall of Presidents and the best quick service in the park.

Haunted Mansion

Any height

Dark ride · 9 min · Multi Pass

Nine minutes of comic gothic staging in a doom buggy — the most carefully written attraction at Magic Kingdom.

Haunted Mansion opened in 1971 and is the clearest demonstration of what Disney's designers do when they take a joke seriously. It is a haunted house with no gore, no jump-scare payoff and no monsters — the ghosts are having a good time and you are the one intruding. That tone was argued about for years during development and the compromise it landed on is why the ride still works fifty years later.

Tips for Haunted Mansion
  • Take the interactive queue rather than the bypass on your first visit. The tombstones and the crypt organ are real effects, they respond to touch, and they are the most rewarding queue at Magic Kingdom for kids aged six and up.
  • Sit on the left in the doom buggy for the ballroom scene, which is the best-staged moment and reads correctly from the left side of the balcony. The right side gets a better look at the graveyard band later.
  • The stretching room is the scary part, not the ride. If you are worried about a child, know that once the doors shut you are in there for about ninety seconds with no exit, and that everything after it is played for laughs.
  • Waits drop hard after dark and during the afternoon parade. A posted forty-five minutes at 8 p.m. is frequently twenty in practice, because Liberty Square empties toward the hub for fireworks.
  • Look at the pet cemetery to the right of the exit ramp, tucked below the lawn. Almost nobody stops there and the headstone inscriptions are the best writing on the property.
  • The ride does not use a seatbelt or restraint beyond a lap bar, and small children can slide forward on the descent out of the attic. Keep an arm across them for that section.

The Hall of Presidents

Any height

Show · 23 min

A 23-minute film and animatronic roll call of every U.S. president, in the coldest theater at Magic Kingdom.

A widescreen film covering American history runs for roughly fifteen minutes, then the screen lifts and every president appears on stage as an audio-animatronic figure. They are individually costumed and each one moves, nods and reacts during a roll call. Two of them speak.

Tips for The Hall of Presidents
  • This is the single best midday recovery stop at Magic Kingdom. Twenty-three minutes, seated, dark, cold, and no line. Regulars use it as a nap; nobody will bother you.
  • The theater is large enough that arriving two minutes before showtime still gets you a good seat. Sit center-rear for the best view of the full stage during the roll call.
  • Take a stroller-aged child in only if they will sleep. There is no exiting mid-show without walking in front of a full theater in the dark.
  • Watch the presidents in the back rows during the roll call rather than the one speaking. The background figures are doing subtle idle animation the whole time and that is where the craftsmanship shows.

A short family coaster with swinging cars, a dark-ride mine interior, and the worst wait-to-ride ratio in the park.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opened in 2014 as the centerpiece of the Fantasyland expansion. The gimmick is a car body mounted on a pivot, so the whole vehicle rocks side to side through the turns instead of being rigidly attached to the chassis. It works — the swing adds a loose, unweighted feel that the layout's actual speed does not justify — and it makes the ride considerably more fun than its two-and-a-half minutes of track should be.

Tips for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
  • This is one of two Lightning Lane Single Pass rides here, and Magic Kingdom is the only WDW park where you can hold two Single Passes. If you are buying, buy this and TRON together — that combination removes the two worst standby lines in the park.
  • If you are not buying, ride it in the first twenty minutes after opening or in the final twenty minutes before close. There is no third good window; the parade dip helps here far less than it helps Peter Pan or Haunted Mansion.
  • Back row for the ride, front row for the photos. The swing is much more pronounced in the last car.
  • Use the test seat by the entrance if any adult in your party is broad through the shoulders or long in the leg. These cars are small and the walk of shame from the station is a long one.
  • 38 inches, the same as Big Thunder Mountain since May 2026. A child who clears one clears both, which is useful because Big Thunder's line is usually half as long.
  • The evening reride trick: get in line in the last five minutes before official close. Anyone in the queue at closing time rides, and the posted number at that hour is usually well above the real wait.

Peter Pan's Flight

Any height

Dark ride · 3 min · Multi Pass

A three-minute suspended dark ride over miniature London and Neverland — the best-looking ride in Fantasyland.

Peter Pan's Flight has been running since opening day and it remains, per foot of track, one of the most efficiently beautiful things Disney has built. The trick is the ride system: instead of rolling through scenes at floor level, your galleon hangs from an overhead rail and travels above the sets, so you look down on a miniature London and a scale Neverland rather than across at them.

Tips for Peter Pan's Flight
  • Sit on the left. The London flyover, which is the reason to ride, is staged toward the left side and the right seats miss the best angle on the river and Big Ben.
  • Ride during the afternoon parade. Fantasyland waits collapse while the parade runs and this is the ride that benefits most — a posted sixty can be twenty-five in practice.
  • This is the single best use of a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection at Magic Kingdom, because the standby wait is high all day with no reliable trough. If you get one selection here, spend it here.
  • The interactive queue is worth walking through even if you have a Lightning Lane return — ask a cast member whether you can walk the standby queue and rejoin. The answer varies, but the nursery shadow room is a genuinely clever piece of design.
  • Rope-drop plan: skip it. Everyone runs here at opening and it is one of the few rides where the rope-drop wait is already thirty minutes eight minutes after the park opens. Go to Seven Dwarfs or Big Thunder instead and take Peter Pan during the parade.

it's a small world

Any height

Boat ride · 11 min · Multi Pass

Eleven minutes of air-conditioned boat ride through a world of singing dolls, and the best midday reset in the park.

Built for the 1964 New York World's Fair and installed in Florida for opening day in 1971, it's a small world is a slow boat ride through a series of rooms representing regions of the world, staffed by roughly three hundred audio-animatronic children in national dress. The design language is deliberately flat and graphic — the whole thing was styled by Mary Blair, whose paper-cutout color sense is why it looks like nothing else Disney has made since.

Tips for it's a small world
  • This is the correct place to be between 1 and 3 p.m. with young children. Eleven minutes of air conditioning at a twenty-minute wait beats any other cooling option in Fantasyland.
  • Ask for the accessible boat if anyone in your party uses a wheelchair or ECV. It loads at a separate dock with a ramp, requires no transfer, and the wait for it is often shorter than standby.
  • Look for the clock tower over the loading area — it chimes and the figures move on the quarter hour, and it is a better piece of animation than most of what is inside.
  • The boats sometimes stop mid-ride for loading at the dock. That is normal, not a breakdown, and it is a good excuse to actually look at the room you have stopped in.
  • If the song is genuinely intolerable to someone in your group, the ride is eleven minutes long and there is no early exit. Take that seriously rather than treating it as a joke.

Dark ride · 4 min · Multi Pass

A four-minute honey-pot dark ride through the Hundred Acre Wood with the best interactive queue in Fantasyland.

Winnie the Pooh occupies the building that once held Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and the ride it replaced still has a devoted following that will tell you about it unprompted. What is there now is a gentle four-minute dark ride following a windy day, a rainstorm and a dream sequence, told with practical sets and a small number of animatronics.

Tips for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
  • Get in the standby queue even with a Lightning Lane return if you have kids under seven. The interactive stations are the best part of the attraction and the Lightning Lane path skips all of them.
  • The Heffalumps and Woozles sequence is the only frightening minute. If you have a nervous child, tell them the colors get weird and then it turns into a party — that framing works better than pretending it does not happen.
  • Waits here are shorter than Peter Pan's for a very similar experience. If you are triaging Fantasyland dark rides with limited time, this is the one to do standby and Peter Pan is the one to Lightning Lane.
  • The honey wall in the queue leaves a residue on hands; there is a hand-washing station right outside the exit that most people miss.
  • Look for the Mr. Toad tribute in the mural near the exit. It is a quiet acknowledgment of the ride that used to be in this building, and it is the sort of thing a tenth-visit guest still has not noticed.

Dark ride · 6 min · Multi Pass

A six-minute clamshell ride retelling The Little Mermaid, with the shortest waits of any Fantasyland dark ride.

Under the Sea opened in 2012 as part of the Fantasyland expansion and uses an omnimover system — a continuous chain of clamshell vehicles that never stops, which is why it eats a queue faster than any other dark ride in the land. It retells the film in six minutes, with the songs edited down and staged as rooms rather than scenes.

Tips for Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid
  • This is the Fantasyland dark ride to do standby. The omnimover moves a huge number of people per hour, so a posted thirty is usually eighteen in practice.
  • Sit on the left if you want the full Ursula view and the right if you have a nervous child — she is staged toward the left of the vehicle and forty seconds of averted eyes solves the problem.
  • The rockwork queue has hidden details worth stopping for: look for the crab pinching in the tidal pool and the shell-shaped drinking fountain, which is the only one of its kind in the park.
  • Do not spend a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection here. This is the one Fantasyland ride where standby is genuinely fine at almost every hour, and your selection is worth far more on Peter Pan's Flight.
  • The building's facade continues around toward Ariel's Grotto, and the two are often confused. The grotto is a character meet, not a ride; they are separate queues with separate lines.

Film · 12 min · Multi Pass

A twelve-minute 3D film with in-theater effects, and the most comfortable air-conditioned sit in Fantasyland.

PhilharMagic is a 3D film built around an orchestral concert that goes wrong, running through a sequence of Disney musical numbers as the story chases a hat through them. It plays in a wide theater with a screen that curves well past your peripheral vision, which is the reason the 3D reads as convincingly as it does — the image fills the space rather than sitting in a frame.

Tips for Mickey's PhilharMagic
  • Sit two-thirds back and dead center. It is the difference between crisp 3D and a headache, and almost nobody self-selects into the good seats.
  • The best air conditioning in Fantasyland is in this theater, and the wait is almost never more than one show cycle. Use it at 2 p.m.
  • The 3D glasses are heavy for children under about four and slip constantly. Some kids do better watching without them — the image is still watchable, just soft.
  • Wait for the tag after the film appears to end. A gag plays after the applause and roughly a third of the audience walks out through it every single show.
  • If someone in your group is sensitive to things flying at their face, the back row solves it entirely without giving up the audio or the screen width.

Mad Tea Party

Any height

Spinner · 1½ min · Multi Pass

Eighteen teacups on a spinning floor with a center wheel that lets you decide how sick you get.

Eighteen oversized teacups sit on three rotating platters that themselves rotate on a larger turntable. Each cup has a wheel in the middle that riders can turn to spin their own cup independently. The ride runs about ninety seconds and the amount of rotation you experience is entirely up to whoever is holding the wheel.

Tips for Mad Tea Party
  • If you are prone to motion sickness, do not get in a cup with anyone under fifteen. Negotiate the spin rate before the ride starts, because there is no way to stop it mid-cycle.
  • The outer cups on the platters generate more centrifugal force even with no wheel input. Take a cup on the inside ring if you want the gentlest ride.
  • It runs during light rain because of the canopy. When a Florida storm sends everyone indoors, this is one of the few outdoor-adjacent rides still cycling and the line is often nonexistent.
  • Ride before eating, not after. This is the one attraction at Magic Kingdom where that advice is not a cliché.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel

Any height

Spinner · 2 min

A genuinely antique carousel from 1917, restored and running behind Cinderella Castle.

This is a real carousel, built in 1917 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and installed at a New Jersey park before Disney bought it, restored it, and put it behind Cinderella Castle in 1971. The horses were stripped and repainted, and Disney made a decision that people still argue about: every horse is white. The original mixed livery was replaced so that no child would feel they got the worse horse.

Tips for Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
  • Ride at night. The carousel's own lighting plus the lit castle directly behind it produces the best photo in Fantasyland, and the ride is a walk-on after dark.
  • The outer ring of horses is bigger and moves higher; the inner ring is gentler and easier for a nervous toddler to mount.
  • Ask for a chariot if anyone in your group cannot swing a leg over a saddle. There are two, they load from the platform, and cast members will hold them for you if you ask at the entrance.
  • Look up at the painted panels around the crown while you ride. They tell a full story in sequence and virtually nobody notices they are there.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Any height

Show · 20 min · Multi Pass

A twenty-minute interactive storytelling session where children are cast in a play and Belle performs with them.

Groups move through three rooms: Maurice's cottage, a wardrobe room where an animatronic wardrobe assigns children parts in a play, and the library where Belle appears and performs the story with the cast she has just been handed. It is not a meet-and-greet with a line photo — it is an actual twenty-minute participatory show.

Tips for Enchanted Tales with Belle
  • Volunteer your child for a role only if they want one — the wardrobe asks and there is no pressure, but standing at the front of the group makes selection much more likely. Standing at the back makes it much less so.
  • Adults get parts too, and taking one is the fastest way to get a genuinely good photo of your child with Belle, because you will be standing in the scene with them.
  • The wait is misleading. It is a timed group show, so a posted thirty minutes means about one and a half group cycles — the line does not creep, it moves in blocks.
  • This is the most underrated Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection at Magic Kingdom for families with kids aged three to eight, because standby here can be forty-five minutes for a show with a fixed group size and no way to speed it up.

Princess Fairytale Hall

Any height

Character meet · 5 min · Multi Pass

The main princess meet-and-greet, with two queues holding two princesses each in an air-conditioned hall.

Princess Fairytale Hall runs two separate lines from a shared lobby, each leading to a room with two princesses. Cinderella is usually in one; the rotating cast in the others changes through the day and across the year. You meet both princesses in your chosen room, one after the other, with a PhotoPass photographer present.

Tips for Princess Fairytale Hall
  • Check both posted waits before you commit. The two lines routinely differ by fifteen to twenty-five minutes, and cast members will tell you which princesses are in each room if you ask.
  • Go in the last ninety minutes of the day. Princess meets clear out dramatically once families with small children leave, and the performers are noticeably more relaxed with a short line behind you.
  • Bring an autograph book and a fat pen. A thin pen is hard for a performer wearing gloves to grip, and the good books have a page thick enough to survive it.
  • If your child has a specific princess they care about, ask at the entrance rather than guessing. The rotation is not published in the app and a cast member will tell you plainly.

Ariel's Grotto

Any height

Character meet · 3 min · Multi Pass

A short, cool, low-key meet with Ariel inside the rockwork beside the Little Mermaid ride.

The grotto is tucked into the same rock formation as Under the Sea, with its own entrance and its own queue. Inside, Ariel sits on a rock in a small cave with water effects and lighting that makes it feel like a set rather than a photo backdrop.

Tips for Ariel's Grotto
  • Do this before Princess Fairytale Hall with a nervous child. Ariel is seated, speaking and at eye level, and a successful meet here usually unlocks the bigger hall later in the day.
  • The queue is indoors and cool, which makes it a legitimate place to wait out a rain shower in Fantasyland.
  • Waits are typically half of Princess Fairytale Hall's for a similar interaction. If time is short and the princess in question does not matter, come here instead.
  • The rockwork around the entrance has real detail — look for the pinching crab and the tidal pool, which the Under the Sea queue also passes but from a different angle.

Spinner · 1½ min · Multi Pass

A ninety-second spinner with a rider-controlled lever, doubled to two carousels, with an air-conditioned indoor queue.

Dumbo has run at Magic Kingdom since 1971 and moved to Storybook Circus in 2012, where Disney did something no other park has done with a kiddie spinner: they built two identical carousels side by side and put an air-conditioned indoor play area in the middle of the queue.

Tips for Dumbo the Flying Elephant
  • Take the pager and use the tent. Families routinely skip the play area because they do not understand the pager system, then stand in the sun instead. Ask the cast member how it works if you are unsure.
  • There are two carousels running the same ride. If one line looks shorter at the platform, it does not matter — the pager assigns you.
  • Let the child sit in front and work the lever. The back seat has no controls and a five-year-old will notice immediately.
  • Ride at night when the elephants and the circus lighting are on. It is a walk-on after dark and the photos are far better than at midday.
  • This is the best place in the park to give a toddler a genuine break without leaving the itinerary — the tent is cold, enclosed, and you keep your place in line the entire time.

The Barnstormer

35"89cm

Roller coaster · 1 min · Multi Pass

A one-minute junior coaster at 35 inches — the lowest height requirement of any coaster at Walt Disney World.

The Barnstormer is a small steel coaster in Storybook Circus themed to a stunt pilot's crashed biplane. It opened in 1996, was rethemed in 2011, and it exists for one reason: to be a child's first roller coaster. At 35 inches it has the lowest coaster height requirement at Walt Disney World, three inches below Big Thunder Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Tips for The Barnstormer
  • This is the coaster to try first with a nervous child, not Seven Dwarfs. The whole layout is visible from the queue, which lets a kid make an informed decision instead of a blind one.
  • 35 inches is the lowest coaster requirement at Walt Disney World. If your child is between 35 and 38 inches, this is the only coaster in the resort they can ride.
  • Adults over six feet should expect a cramped minute. It is fine, it is short, and there is no version where the leg room improves.
  • Ride it in the first hour or after dark. The queue is exposed and the wait-to-ride ratio at midday — thirty minutes for sixty seconds — is one of the worst in the park.
  • It is right next to Dumbo's air-conditioned play tent. Do Barnstormer first while everyone is fresh, then use the Dumbo pager system to cool down.

Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station

Any height

Play area · 15 min

A free splash pad in Storybook Circus where circus animals spray water at running children.

A small water play area built around a circus train, with elephants and camels that spray, dump and squirt water at unpredictable intervals. There is no queue, no supervision requirement beyond your own, and no charge. Kids run in and out of it until they are soaked.

Tips for Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station
  • Bring a change of clothes or accept a wet child for the rest of the afternoon. There is nowhere to change here and the nearest restroom is not equipped for it.
  • Water shoes or sandals beat sneakers by a wide margin. Wet sneakers ruin the second half of a park day faster than almost anything else.
  • Time it right before a scheduled break rather than at 10 a.m. A soaked child at rope drop is a problem; a soaked child ninety minutes before you leave for the hotel is a solution.
  • The Storybook Circus benches around the splash pad are shaded and almost always available, which makes this one of the few places in Fantasyland where an adult can genuinely sit down while a child burns energy.

Pete's Silly Sideshow

Any height

Character meet · 5 min · Multi Pass

A circus tent in Storybook Circus where Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Minnie meet in carnival costumes.

A permanent tent at the back of Storybook Circus split into two sides, each with two costumed characters in carnival personas — a strongman, a snake charmer, a daredevil, a fortune teller. The specific lineup rotates but generally draws from Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Minnie Mouse.

Tips for Pete's Silly Sideshow
  • Two separate lines, two separate waits, two separate pairs of characters. Check both posted times and pick — you are not required to do both.
  • This is the quickest way to meet Donald and Daisy at Magic Kingdom, and the waits run well under what Mickey's meet on Main Street commands.
  • The tent is properly air conditioned and rarely crowded, which makes the queue a viable place to cool down in the back corner of the park.
  • Costumed characters do not speak. If your child does better with characters who talk back, do Princess Fairytale Hall or Ariel's Grotto first and come here after they are warmed up.

Tomorrowland

The retro-future quarter holding TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and the best free rest stop in the park.

Space Mountain

44"112cm

Roller coaster · 2½ min · Multi Pass

A 1975 indoor coaster in near-total darkness — slow on paper, genuinely intense in practice.

Space Mountain opened in 1975 as the first indoor roller coaster of its kind, and its central idea has never been improved on: build a modest coaster and take away the rider's ability to see the track. Top speed is around twenty-eight miles per hour, the drops are short, and the layout would be unremarkable in daylight. In the dark, with star projections overhead and no horizon, it plays like something twice as fast.

Tips for Space Mountain
  • Front seat is meaningfully smoother than the back. If anyone in your party is worried about roughness, ask for row one — the difference is real.
  • Do not ride this immediately after eating. The combination of darkness, sharp lateral movement and no visible horizon makes it the most reliable motion-sickness trigger at Magic Kingdom, well ahead of the teacups.
  • This is on Lightning Lane Multi Pass, not Single Pass, which makes it one of the highest-value Multi Pass selections in the park — a sixty-minute standby wait removed for the cost of one selection.
  • The single-file seating is the real constraint, not the height requirement. Broad-shouldered adults and anyone over roughly six foot three should use the test vehicle at the entrance rather than finding out in the station.
  • Rope drop Tomorrowland and do TRON first, then Space Mountain second — the crowd runs to Fantasyland at opening and Tomorrowland stays workable for the first thirty minutes.
  • The exit dumps you onto a moving walkway through a long ramp. If you are prone to post-ride dizziness, hold the rail; the walkway is the part people actually fall on.

Roller coaster · 1 min · Single Pass

Walt Disney World's fastest coaster: a launched lightcycle ride you take lying forward on a motorcycle seat.

TRON opened in 2023 in a canopy behind Tomorrowland, adapting a coaster that had run at Shanghai Disneyland since 2016. The ride vehicle is the point — you straddle a lightcycle, lean forward onto handlebars, and restraints close over your back and calves so you are held in a racing posture with nothing in front of your chest. Nobody who has ridden it forgets the position.

Tips for TRON Lightcycle / Run
  • Ride at night. The outdoor canopy run is the signature moment of the ride and it is roughly twice as good after dark as it is at noon.
  • There are accessible seats with a conventional upright lap-bar configuration at the back of each train. They are available to anyone who asks and are the answer for guests who cannot manage the forward posture, are pregnant-adjacent in comfort terms, or simply do not want it. Ask at the entrance, not in the station.
  • Everything comes out of your pockets. Phones, keys, sunglasses, hats. There is no bin on the vehicle and the ride posture puts your pockets facing down.
  • 48 inches, the tallest requirement at Magic Kingdom. If you are traveling with a child around that height, measure before you queue — this is the most common height turn-away in the park.
  • This is the Lightning Lane Single Pass to buy if you are only buying one. Standby routinely exceeds an hour for a sixty-second ride and there is no reliable trough during the day.
  • The forward-leaning posture puts pressure on your sternum and lower back. It is fine for a minute for most people, but anyone with an existing back problem should take the accessible seat instead of toughing it out.

Full guide to TRON Lightcycle / Run →

Dark ride · 4½ min · Multi Pass

A shoot-the-targets dark ride with rider-controlled spinning cars, updated and reopened in 2026.

Buzz Lightyear has run since 1998 as a competitive shooting dark ride: you sit in a two-person car with a laser blaster each, fire at targets marked with a Z, and rack up a score that appears on the dashboard. A joystick between the seats spins the car so you can aim wherever you like. It reopened in 2026 after an update refreshing the show scenes, effects and target systems.

Tips for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
  • Pull the blaster out of its holder and hold it in your hands. Riders who leave it mounted score a fraction of what a handheld shooter does, and half the vehicle never realizes it comes out.
  • The high-value targets are the awkward ones — low on the floor, high on the walls, or moving. Ignore the big obvious targets in the middle of each scene; they are worth the least.
  • Whoever holds the joystick controls the whole car's aim. If you are riding with a competitive child, hand it over or accept that you have lost before the ride starts.
  • This is a good afternoon ride because the queue and ride are entirely indoors, and waits rarely exceed forty minutes even at peak. Do not spend a Lightning Lane selection here if Peter Pan's Flight is still available.
  • The scores displayed at the end map to ranks, and hitting the top rank requires roughly a specific target strategy rather than volume of shooting. Two rides in a row is how most people crack it — and this is one of the few rides where a straight reride is often a five-minute wait.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Any height

Transportation · 10 min

A ten-minute elevated tour of Tomorrowland on a linear-motor track — the best free rest stop in the park.

The PeopleMover has circled Tomorrowland since 1975 on a track driven by linear induction motors with no engine in the vehicles at all. It was built as a demonstration of a mass-transit concept that Walt Disney World never scaled up, and it is one of the last pieces of the original 1970s Tomorrowland philosophy still operating.

Tips for Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
  • Ride it after dark. Tomorrowland's lighting package is the best in the park at night and the PeopleMover is the only way to see it from above.
  • This is the ideal recovery attraction: ten minutes seated, moving air, no line, and it is genuinely interesting. Use it when a member of your party is done but the rest of you are not.
  • The pass through the inside of Space Mountain lets you see the coaster's layout in the dark, which is either reassuring or a warning depending on who you are riding with. Nervous first-timers should do this before deciding on Space Mountain.
  • Look into the window at the model city on the second half of the loop. It is the original Progress City model from the 1960s showing Walt Disney's planned community concept, and almost nobody on board knows what they are looking at.
  • Boarding is onto a moving belt with no stationary option. If someone in your party needs a slow load, tell the cast member at the top of the ramp rather than at the platform.

Astro Orbiter

Any height

Spinner · 1½ min

A fast spinner on the roof of Tomorrowland that is considerably more intense than it looks from the ground.

Astro Orbiter has spun above Tomorrowland since 1974, originally as the Star Jets and renamed in the 1990s. Twelve rockets circle a central column on the roof of the PeopleMover building, reached by an elevator, and the rider in the front seat controls the height with a lever.

Tips for Astro Orbiter
  • This is not a gentle spinner. It is faster than every other flat ride at Magic Kingdom and it tilts you over open air twenty feet up. Do not put a nervous toddler on it because Dumbo was fine.
  • Ride at night for the view over the castle and the Tomorrowland lighting. It is genuinely the best elevated view available to a regular guest at Magic Kingdom.
  • The queue is on the ground and you ride an elevator up, so the posted wait includes elevator cycles. A ten-minute posted wait can easily be twenty in practice — check the platform, not the sign.
  • The rockets are narrow. Two adults fit but shoulders overlap, and the front rider has the lever, so decide who is flying before you get in.

Train · 5 min · Multi Pass

Gas-powered cars on a guide rail — loud, slow, hot, and the only place a small child can drive.

The Speedway is a set of gas-powered two-seat cars running on a half-mile track with a steel guide rail down the center of each lane. You steer, but the rail limits how far off course you can get; you control the accelerator, and top speed is around seven miles per hour. It has run essentially unchanged since 1971.

Tips for Tomorrowland Speedway
  • Ride it in the first hour or skip it. A forty-five-minute midday wait for five minutes of exhaust fumes at seven miles per hour is the worst trade at Magic Kingdom, and the queue offers no shade worth the name.
  • The adult should work the pedal and let the child steer. A five-year-old cannot hold the accelerator down for a full lap, and the ride stopping halfway through is the standard rookie outcome.
  • 54 inches to drive alone is the number that matters to older kids, and it is one of the few requirements at Disney where the taller child gets the better experience rather than just access.
  • Rider Switch is available, which is worth knowing because plenty of parents assume a 32-inch ride does not need it.
  • If your child is under 54 inches and desperate to drive solo, the honest answer is that no other attraction on Walt Disney World property offers it. Manage expectations before you queue rather than at the loading gate.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Any height

Show · 15 min · Multi Pass

A live improv comedy show performed by animated monsters who talk directly to the audience.

An animated monster hosts a stand-up set on screens at the front of a theater, and the whole thing is live — a puppeteer and voice performer behind the scenes sees the audience and responds in real time. Characters pick people out of the crowd, comment on their shirts, put their face on the big screen and improvise around them.

Tips for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
  • Text a joke to the number displayed in the pre-show area. Very few guests bother, so a decent short joke has a real chance of being read to the theater.
  • Sit in the middle rows if you want to be picked on and at the very back if you do not. The characters can see the audience and they target people who look approachable.
  • Wear something with a slogan or an unusual hat if you want to be part of the show. The performers work from what they can see.
  • It is fifteen minutes of air conditioning with a wait that is essentially the next show cycle, and it is directly across from Buzz Lightyear — a good pairing for a mid-afternoon indoor block in Tomorrowland.
