Columbia Harbour House is a colonial seaport building on the Liberty Square and Fantasyland border, serving fried fish and shrimp, a lobster roll, clam chowder, a chicken pot pie and one of the better vegan sandwiches in the park.
The upstairs is the reason regulars love it. A staircase near the order counter leads to a second floor of small nautical rooms with maps, model ships and windows over the walkway, and the vast majority of guests never go up. On a busy day the ground floor is full and there are empty tables directly above it.
The food is a step up from typical park quick service. The fried fish is properly crisp, the chowder is thick, and the Lighthouse Sandwich — hummus and broccoli slaw on multigrain — is a legitimately good vegan option rather than a token one.
The best quick service at Magic Kingdom on food quality, and the upstairs seating is the single most useful secret in the park's dining. Order the fish or the Lighthouse Sandwich.
