Spice Road Table sits directly on the water at the Morocco pavilion, with a tiled interior room and a large covered terrace facing World Showcase Lagoon. The menu is built around small plates — hummus, grilled octopus, lamb sliders, calamari, fried cheese — with a few larger entrees and a short but well-chosen wine and cocktail list.
The small-plates format is the right one for a park. You can order three things, share them, and be out for less than a full entree costs at most of the other table-service restaurants on the loop. The hummus fries are the item people come back for.
It is also the easiest lagoon-front reservation at EPCOT and regularly seats walk-ups when La Hacienda and Rose & Crown are impossible. That combination — a water table, decent food, and actual availability — makes it one of the most useful bookings in the park.

More often than anywhere else with a lagoon view. It takes walk-ups regularly, especially at the shoulder hours around 3 PM and after 8 PM.
From the terrace, yes — you get fireworks over the water. The projection elements on the far pavilions will be at an angle, so it is a partial view rather than a full one.
Unusually good. The mezze-style small plates mean vegetarian and vegan diners get real dishes built for them rather than a modified entree.
