What it is

Regal Eagle opened in 2020 in the space behind the American Adventure pavilion, replacing the old Liberty Inn. It is organized around regional barbecue traditions — Texas brisket, Carolina pulled pork, Kansas City ribs, and a smoked chicken — each with its matching sauce, and it does the meat properly with a real smoker rather than reheating.

The brisket is the strongest item and comes with a visible smoke ring. The pulled pork sandwich is the value order. The plant-based barbecue option is one of the better vegan mains at any Walt Disney World quick-service, which is a low bar cleared by a surprising margin.

The dining room is indoors, air-conditioned, and large, with a sauce bar where you can help yourself to all four regional styles. For a park where most counter service means eating outdoors in the heat, that matters.

Our verdict

The best quick-service in World Showcase: real smoked meat, four free sauces, and an air-conditioned room, at prices that undercut every table-service option nearby.

Tips for Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

  • Use the self-serve sauce bar. All four regional sauces are out and free, and the platters arrive lightly sauced on purpose so you can choose.
  • The indoor dining room is one of the largest air-conditioned quick-service spaces on the World Showcase loop and it is nearly always the coolest option at lunch.
  • Mobile order and pick up at the side window. The main counter queue at 12:30 wraps outside for no good reason.
  • The plant-based option is genuinely worth ordering rather than tolerating, which cannot be said of most park vegan mains.
  • Sit at the far end of the dining room by the windows — the tables near the counter fill first and stay loud.

Texas Beef Brisket Platter

Regal Eagle Smokehouse

$18.49

Sliced smoked beef brisket with a visible smoke ring, served with two sides and access to the self-serve regional sauce bar.

Our take: Real barbecue in a theme park, which almost never happens. Use the free sauce bar rather than accepting what arrives on the plate.

Yes. The kitchen runs a smoker and the brisket in particular shows a genuine smoke ring. It is a substantial step above typical theme park counter service.

Yes, a large air-conditioned dining room plus outdoor tables. It is one of the few quick-service locations on the World Showcase loop with serious indoor capacity.

Are there vegan options?

Yes, and the plant-based barbecue platter is one of the better vegan mains at any Walt Disney World quick-service rather than a token afterthought.

Do you need a reservation?
