Rivers of Light Closed Ended in 2021 and never returned. The Discovery River amphitheater seating built for it still stands between Asia and DinoLand U.S.A., and Animal Kingdom has had no regular nighttime spectacular since.

Flights of Wonder Closed Ended in 2018 after twenty years at the Caravan Stage. The venue was rethemed and now hosts Feathered Friends in Flight!, which uses many of the same birds without the storyline or the comedic host.

DINOSAUR Closed — permanently Closed permanently for the Tropical Americas redevelopment of the former DinoLand. Its replacement is the Indiana Jones attraction listed below, in the same building footprint.

Indiana Jones Adventure (Tropical Americas) Not yet open — under construction The headline attraction of the Tropical Americas land replacing DinoLand. Disney has spoken about a 2027 opening publicly; we have not verified a date and are not going to print one. Treat 2027 as the earliest a trip could be planned around it, not as a commitment.

Pueblo Esperanza Carousel (Tropical Americas) Not yet open — under construction A family spinner for the new land, expected to open alongside it rather than separately. Animal Kingdom has been short of young-child attractions since the DinoLand closures and this is the replacement for that gap.
