The Tropical Hideaway opened in 2018 in the space between the Jungle Cruise and the Enchanted Tiki Room, and it is the best-designed small food location at Disneyland. There is a covered counter, a scattering of tables on a deck built out over the Jungle Cruise river, and an animatronic bird host who talks to the queue.
The menu covers steamed bao, a few snack items, and — critically — Dole Whip in more flavors and combinations than the Tiki Juice Bar window sells, including swirls and floats. The Tiki window is the famous one and always has the longer line; this is the same product with more options and half the wait.
The deck seating is the real find. You are sitting on the water watching Jungle Cruise boats go past, in shade, in one of the quietest corners of a very busy land. Almost nobody plans to eat here, which is exactly why it works.

Pineapple soft-serve dropped into a cup of chilled pineapple juice, which fizzes slightly and slowly turns the whole thing into a drinkable slush as it melts.
