Smokejumpers Grill sits in Grizzly Peak Airfield, themed as the mess hall of a smokejumper base with real firefighting equipment, parachute rigging and period signage dressed into the building. It is the most convincing service-building theming at this park after Flo's.
The menu is burgers, chicken sandwiches, a plant-based option and fries. The burgers are cooked properly rather than held, which puts them above the park's baseline, and the self-serve toppings bar is unusually well stocked — grilled onions, several sauces, pickles and peppers at no extra charge.
It is also the only substantial food in the entire northern half of the park. Once you are past Grizzly River Run there is nothing else until Buena Vista Street, which makes this counter more important to your day than its profile suggests.
The best burger at either Disneyland Resort park, mostly because the toppings bar is free and everyone forgets to use it. Not exciting, but genuinely good.

The covered tables on the far side of the building away from the counter. They are shaded and usually have space, while the tables in front of the ordering windows fill first and get full sun.
