What it is

Cinderella's Royal Table is the dining hall on the upper floor of Cinderella Castle, reached by a stone staircase from the courtyard. It is the only restaurant inside the castle and one of very few places at Walt Disney World where guests can go inside the building at all.

The meal is a prix fixe with princesses circulating between tables. Cinderella typically greets guests in the lobby downstairs before you are seated, with additional princesses visiting the dining hall during the meal. Prepayment is required at booking and there is a strict cancellation policy.

The room is a tall stone hall with stained glass, banners and narrow windows over Fantasyland. It is genuinely impressive for about ten minutes, and it is smaller than most people expect from the outside.

Our verdict

Wildly expensive for food that is merely fine. You are paying to eat inside the castle and to meet princesses without queuing — if that is worth it to your family, it is worth it; if not, nothing here justifies the price.

What to order

The dishes this kitchen is actually known for. Menus change seasonally, so treat this as what to look for rather than a guaranteed list.

  • Beef tenderloin
  • Chicken and dumpling stew
  • Royal breakfast platter
  • Clock strikes twelve chocolate dessert
  • Sparkling cider toast

Tips for Cinderella's Royal Table

  • Book at exactly sixty days out at 6 a.m. Eastern and expect to prepay in full. It is the hardest reservation at Magic Kingdom and the cancellation window is strict.
  • Breakfast is the smartest booking. It costs less than dinner, the same princesses appear, and you are inside the castle before the park fills — you walk out into a nearly empty Fantasyland.
  • The photo package is included in the price whether you use it or not, so make sure someone actually collects the PhotoPass shots taken in the lobby.
  • Tell them at booking if you are celebrating. They handle birthdays well and it costs nothing.
  • If the price is the sticking point and the characters are the goal, The Crystal Palace delivers four characters and a full buffet for meaningfully less money.

Cinderella's Royal Table: common questions

How much does Cinderella's Royal Table cost?

Generally $75 or more per adult as of July 2026, prepaid at booking, with lower pricing for children. It is the most expensive meal at Magic Kingdom and among the priciest at Walt Disney World.

Which princesses appear at Cinderella's Royal Table?

Cinderella typically greets guests in the downstairs lobby before seating, with a rotating group of other princesses visiting tables during the meal. The exact lineup is not published in advance and changes.

Is Cinderella's Royal Table worth the money?

Only if eating inside the castle and meeting princesses without a queue matters to your family. The food is unremarkable at any price and dramatically so at this one. The Crystal Palace offers four characters and a buffet for considerably less.

Do you have to prepay for Cinderella's Royal Table?

Yes, in full at the time of booking, and the cancellation policy is stricter than at other Disney restaurants. Read the terms before you confirm — a late cancellation forfeits the payment.
