Liberty Square
The Hall of Presidents theater
A large, dim, aggressively air-conditioned theater with a twenty-three-minute show and essentially no line. The best place in the park to sit in low stimulation without leaving.
Magic Kingdom
Transfers, rentals, quiet spaces, and the sensory details nobody puts on an official page — laid out so you can plan the day rather than discover problems at the queue.
Magic Kingdom is the most walkable of the four Florida parks in terms of distance and the most difficult in terms of surfaces. Main Street's paving, the cobbled sections of Liberty Square and the packed walkways of Adventureland all create friction that the flat maps do not show, and the park's compact footprint means the crowd density per square foot is the highest at Walt Disney World.
Disney's Disability Access Service is requested in advance through a live video chat rather than at the park, and eligibility has been narrowed in recent years to guests who cannot tolerate an extended wait in a conventional queue due to a developmental disability. Guests with mobility needs are generally directed to the standard queues, most of which are wheelchair accessible, or to attraction-specific accommodations arranged at the entrance. Ask at the attraction gate rather than assuming — cast members at Magic Kingdom are unusually good at arranging a stopped belt, an accessible vehicle or a slow load if you say what you need.
Every attraction entry on this site lists a transfer level: wheelchair-accessible means you can stay in your chair, ecv-transfer means you can move to a wheelchair but not necessarily out of it, and must-transfer means you have to get out and into the ride vehicle.

Grouped by what the attraction requires. Where a transfer is needed, plan for who does the lifting before you join the queue.

Liberty Square
A large, dim, aggressively air-conditioned theater with a twenty-three-minute show and essentially no line. The best place in the park to sit in low stimulation without leaving.
Tomorrowland
A thousand-seat rotating theater that is rarely more than a third full. Twenty-one minutes, cool and dark, with a gentle mechanical rotation between scenes.
Liberty Square
A second floor of small nautical dining rooms most guests never find. Quiet, air conditioned, and available to sit in even when the ground floor is packed.
Fantasyland
A full air-conditioned room with tables and a fireplace at the back of Fantasyland. Most guests order at the window and leave, so there is nearly always a seat.
Behind the Crystal Palace at the top of Main Street
Staffed by nurses, with quiet rooms, cots and air conditioning. Available to anyone who needs to lie down, not only for medical emergencies, and it is the standard recommendation for a sensory overload episode.
